LaunchPad is a series of 1-day-long gatherings of teams of people interested in developing a new ‘mission initiative’, ‘church plant’, ethnic fellowship, worship service, or ‘faith community’.
What is LaunchPad?
- A chance for teams to gather and reflect on the first year of new mission initiatives, faith communities, worship services, church plants.
- An introduction to principles of starting and developing new mission initiatives in the local community, sponsored by the Uniting Church in Australia.
- Interactive learning to empower teams work through the practical and visionary tasks of starting a new mission initiative.
- A theology of mission built around the idea that church is community – what a postmodern world needs to taste and see in order to believe

LaunchPad is run by Seeds of Hope, a church planting movement in the Queensland Synod, Uniting Church in Australia, in collaboration with Church Resource Ministries who have developed much of the material being covered.
