Forge July Intensive

Forge Queensland is hosting a missional training intensive in July, focusing on radical discipleship, the Spirit and sustainability.

July Thursday 7 – Friday 8 will focus on ‘simple church’, and will be led by Tony and Felicity Dale from House2House Ministries. 9.30 – 5 pm at Hercules Rd State Primary School, Kippa-Ring. July 8, Friday evening will feature Peter Breen speaking on ‘Christ the emergent artist in the emergent culture’. 7.15 pm at Jugglers Art Space, 103 Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley.

July 10 – 11 will feature Stephen Said and Dave Andrews from TEAR Australia. 9.30 am – 5 pm at Gateway Baptist, 1052 Mt Gravatt Capalaba Rd, Mackenzie, Brisbane.

Home Church Forum Day

On Thursday July 6 Tony and Felicity Dale will be sharing on the international home church at meetings in North Lakes.

Tony and Felicity DaleTony and Felicity are medical doctors originally from the UK. After seeing God moving in amazing ways in home churches among their medical friends and associates over several years, they felt very strongly called by the Lord to move to Texas, USA. House2House magazine and ministry have been a means of encouragement and blessing to many across the world. Tony and Felicity have worked with Rolland Heidi Baker in Mozambique and have recently conducted meetings in Pakistan amongst home church planters.

Unleashing the Mission-shaped Church

A REMINDER – REGISTRATIONS CLOSE IN A WEEK’S TIME

A one day workshop on church planting featuring George Lings, Bob and Mary Hopkins from the UK.

Thursday 15 June, 9 am – 4.30 pm
St Francis Theological College – 233 Milton Rd, Milton, Brisbane

George Lings is the Director of the Sheffield Centre in the UK. His work in discerning the evolving mission of the church is highly regarded by church leaders and missional practitioners. George was instrumental in the production of The Mission Shaped Church report and is the editor of the periodical Encounters on the Edge George is widely respected in the field of church planting and new forms of church as a consultant, trainer and writer.

Bob and Mary Hopkins head up Anglican Church Planting Initiatives (ACPI) in the UK – an organisation they founded 17 years ago. They have recently joined the Archbishop of Canterbury’s newly formed Fresh Expressions team alongside Steve Croft. They have a wide ministry of consultation and training in the areas of church planting, cell church development and fresh expression of church.

The workshop is being sponsored by Church Army Australia, Gospel Outreach Ministries and the Task Force on Mission (Anglican General Synod).
